Treemendous is Branching Out!
In December 2023 and January 2024 we organised three sessions of tree planting funded by the Tree Council Branching Out programme. Thank you for the funding.
One feature of this scheme was the variety of size and species of trees – both saplings and whips – and another was the use of only biodegradable tree guards, in our determination not to use one-use plastic.
Over the three sessions we planted 1425 trees of 8 native species with bio guard spirals to protect the trees from damage by the local rabbit population.
